Meet Pets in Paradise Manager Megan.... Growing up my family always had multiple pets, animals were always a part of life. I started in the grooming industry in 2009 as a bather then went on to grooming academy the following year. I love dogs but my passion is with a slightly larger animal. I’ve had experience in the horse industry for over 20 years and still love learning new aspects of it. I have two horses Sporty and Lakota, they don’t live on my property but I try to spend as much of my free time at the farm as I can. I share my home with my husband, our son Weston and our two dogs, Maggie Mae a French Bulldog and Gunner, a Chesapeake Bay Retriever.
Meet Jaclyn.... I grew up with dogs being a part of my family and have had a love for animals ever since. I have been working with dogs for almost six years and grooming for the last two. Aside from the daily dose of puppy kisses, my favorite part of this profession is knowing that families trust me enough to take care of their fur babies. Outside of work I enjoy reading and traveling. I love foreign languages and experiencing other cultures.
Meet Taylor..... From a young age I knew I wanted to work with animals. I started at Pets in Paradise at age 16 as a bather and started to learn about grooming and taking care of the puppies. After attending grooming academy I have been lucky enough to work side by side with my parents in our family passion and business.
I’ve always had a love for dogs they are a part of my family. I got a passion for grooming when I fostered dogs after hurricane sandy bathing and cleaning them up getting them ready to find their forever homes. Once i completed Grooming academy i joined the Pets in Paradise family!
My name is Kim and i am a groomer at Pets in Paradise. My journey really started when our family welcomed our maltese, Boo into the family. Ever since then i have wanted to work more with dogs and show them the same care and love we give to Boo. In 2017 i attended the Dog Grooming School of Pennsylvania where i fell in love with grooming. I continue to attend classes in order to learn and improve my skills. Being a groomer at Pets in Paradise, everyone is so helpful and kind to each other and we genuinely care for each dog that walks through the door. We want each dog to have the most comfortable and best experience possible. I carry this same attitude as i want to grow as a groomer so that each dog that i groom leaves happy.
I have always loved and wanted to work with animals. I've been working in the pet industry for over 10 years, caring for all types of animals from fish, to lizards and everything in between. From there I began grooming and have been for the last 8 years. When I'm not grooming I'm spending time with my family, which includes my boyfriend, our daughter and our Tibetan Mastiff named Dwight.
My name is Kristin. I have been a dog groomer since 2009. My love for animals started at a young age while volunteering with my mom at a local resque. My number one priority is keeping your dog safe and making your dogs grooming experience a positive one. I enjoy grooming and take pride in making every dog look and feel beautiful. I consider my clients friends, as i have known some of them for years. Every dog is treated like family as if they were my own. When i am not grooming you will find me at the local dog park with my dog Kobe!
Hello! My name is Carrie, and I am very excited to be working with Pets in Paradise to give your pets the love and care they deserve during their grooming! My love for animals goes way back to my childhood. I’ve always had a connection with them; the rescue I volunteered for dubbing me the “animal whisperer”. I knew wanted to become a groomer when I began my very first job at the local kennel. Watching the groomer there work with the dogs to achieve such a beautiful outcome, as well as the relationship she built with the animals she worked with just made me fall in love with the profession. I went to school immediately and graduated with my certification in Dog Grooming. Now, working professionally, I fall in love with my job all over again each and every day. I look forward to meeting all of you and your precious pets!
